With more than 7200 students, LUMSA University was founded by Luigia Tincani and until 1990s it was a women only and pedagogical institution. Afterwards, it grew professionally with rapid steps, establishing several faculties and educational institutions in Taranto in 1997, in Palermo in 1999 and finally in Gubbio in 2017.
