Milan-Bicocca University is one of the most dynamic research and innovation-oriented Italian public universities. Founded on June 10, 1998, as an autonomous organization, the university is one of the youngest universities in the world. The University of Milan-Bicocca is located in an area on the northern outskirts of Milan occupied by the Pirelli industrial complex until the late 1980s.
