SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) | SAT TOEFL and IELTS Exams

SAT Exam aims to measure how high school seniors or students who have graduated from high school use the knowledge they have acquired during their education life. The exam taken by foreign students who want to study at universities in Turkey and students who want to study at universities in the United States of America is called SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Students applying to schools using the SAT Exam results must be successful in two separate sections, SAT 1 (Reasoning Test) and SAT 2 (Subject Test) during the exam.

If we need to examine the sections in the exam in detail; The SAT 1 test is called the “Reasoning Test” and is prepared as multiple choice. The duration is 3 hours 45 minutes. This test aims to measure the numerical and verbal abilities of the students; SAT 1 consists of 3 main sections: “Mathematics” (Mathematics – Geometry), “Critical Reading” (verbal/critical reading in English), “Writing” (Composition). The scores of each test, characterized by the score name, range from 200 to 800.

While the results of all three sections of the SAT 1 Exam are taken into account in the applications made by the students to the American universities, only the results of the “Mathematics” and “Critical Reading” tests are evaluated in the applications of foreign students to universities in Turkey, and the “Writing” section score is not taken into consideration.
